        <p>&nbsp;<span>In this article we will learn about the following</span></p><p>-<b data-redactor-tag="b">30 pointers about what wisdom is - which I learned through my long journey of life through a maze of failures-mistakes-omissions-blunders-errors - most of them down-right silly</b></p><p>-<b data-redactor-tag="b">81 Tips for acquiring wisdom in naturally </b></p><p>Acquiring and applying the art of practical wisdom in your life - How to acquire and apply the art of wisdom</p><p>Have you come-across - <b data-redactor-tag="b">some of the most respected celebrities, powerful-people and top-</b><b data-redactor-tag="b">bureaucrats</b><b data-redactor-tag="b"> and the people who have gone to great-institutions - but - you feel shocked-disappointed-let down by the ideologies they support and what they utter time to time</b> [<b data-redactor-tag="b">which you may think can only be attributed to people who are intellectually-challenged </b>- although these people have gone genuinely to the IITs/IIMS and likes and higher-ones].</p><p><span>You also would have heard about or met - </span><b data-redactor-tag="b">people with awesomely-enviable qualifications and abundance of theoretical-knowledge AND who have answers and solutions to every problem in the world</b><span> - and still you find them to be a failures in their many aspects of life.</span><br></p><p>It is also easy to find people [<b data-redactor-tag="b">with seemingly high IQ and those who are considered intelligent and are accomplished</b>] - making silly-mistakes - <b data-redactor-tag="b">which in commonsensical way could have been easily avoided.</b></p><p><b data-redactor-tag="b">       I am amazed - that there is new fastest-growing tribe of people in INDIA -&nbsp;who seemingly have gone to school-college YET are uneducated/illiterates - by what they do, how they think and how they behave PLUS what they profess - this tribe is the antithesis of what real-Wisdom is.<br></b></p><p>Let me share this phrase of questions-statements - <b data-redactor-tag="b">I used in few of my very-high profile workshops - entire paragraph below is that exercise.</b></p><p><b data-redactor-tag="b">Have you made any stupid-mistake</b> - most would say yes - then I would ask - <b data-redactor-tag="b">have you made a stupid-mistake - after telling yourself that you will not make it again</b> - now some may say yes - Then I would again ask - <b data-redactor-tag="b">have you made a stupid-mistake after taking resolve that no matter-what you will not repeat the mistake - yet you made that mistake</b>.</p><p><b data-redactor-tag="b">And you would be surprised that the above paragraph fits my life perfectly.</b></p><p>This brings us to the definition of wisdom - i<b data-redactor-tag="b">s wisdom - is all about - being so amazingly intelligent - that someone gifted with it would never make any mistake.</b></p><p><b data-redactor-tag="b">30 pointers about what wisdom is - which I learned through my long journey of life through a maze of failures-mistakes-omissions-blunders-errors - most of them down-right silly</b></p> <ul><li>1.Trying and experimenting with new ideas </li> <li>2.Taking risk by stretching into the realm of unknown-uncertain-ambiguous-scary-ridiculous</li> <li>3.Failing by attempting bigger-goals</li> <li>4.Applying the lessons of all the three points given above - in every aspect of life</li> <li>5.Focusing on solutions</li> <li>6.Exploring possibilities</li> <li>7.Knowing and accepting the personal-limitations - yet going for larger-than-life goals using the continuously improving capabilities and strengths</li> <li>8.Being an action-person - after deciding on an action - executing it as per the plan - in case it does not succeed - improvising it till accomplishment of objectives </li> <li>9.Working from area of control - all the time and ignoring what is beyond</li> <li>10. Exploring all the choices - choosing the best possibilities</li> <li>11. Facing the truth - however bitter and ego-zapping it might happen to be</li> <li>12. Continuously working on learning and improving self</li> <li>13. Using the lessons from the mistakes-failures-actions of others</li> <li>14. Having a clear big-dream - but focusing only on the next action</li> <li>15. Understanding the consequences of taking-actions and making-decisions and being fully responsible for these</li> <li>16. Knowing that whatever the problem - you are facing - only you are responsible for finding and applying solutions</li> <li>17. Knowing that external factors, physical aspects, name-fame-power-beauty-youth and materialistic pursuits don't really create fulfillment</li> <li>18. Focusing on meaningful-values and objectives - to live life in worthwhile manner</li> <li>19. Accepting that wisdom is accepting what is happening and then moving on - no matter what</li> <li>20. Helping others find their way and creating happiness for others - can result into self-happiness</li> <li>21. Knowing that showing-off to impress is not at all satisfying in long run by living a false-life</li> <li>22. While looking for solutions - focusing on commonsensical approach </li> <li>23. Sticking with the basics of relationship-building, success, health, happiness, growth and wealth-building</li> <li>24. Simplifying your life </li> <li>25. Learning to manage your negative emotions and feelings like anger-frustrations-disappointments-rejections-stress-depression etc. - more effectively</li> <li>26. Cultivate inquisitive mind-heart and spirit </li> <li>11. Mentally welcome changes-disruptions-uncertainties and unknown</li> <li>12. Go for newer hobbies, make friends from different cultures</li> <li>13. Go to places you've never been before - make an effort to talk to people you don't know very well or to complete strangers </li> <li>14. Step out of your comfort zone - try to find thrill in going ahead with doing something that scares you - of-course under expert-supervision - if it involves any physical risks and dangers</li> <li>15. Volunteer to give a presentation.</li> <li>16. Become a good listener and ask a lot of questions to find out more</li> <li>17. Stop making instant-impressions about people </li> <li>18. Be open-minded - instead of judging make yourself curious to understand others first</li> <li>19. Keep company of wise people and the people who are smarter than you</li> <li>20. Learn learn learn - enrich yourself with knowledge of what will equip you with future skills</li> <li>21. Read read read - to become aware of what is happening in the world - in your profession and elsewhere</li> <li>22. Apply all that you think can be used to make you deliver higher quality output </li> <li>23. Teach others - Help other become better</li> <li>24. Enroll wise mentors - whom you admire and who inspire you</li> <li>25. But avoid putting others into very-high pedestal - so as to avoid feeling disappointed - if you come across some lacunas - as each one of us have fallacies and weaknesses</li> <li>26. Instead of feeling how much you know - develop the mindset of finding and learning about what you don't know but need to</li> <li>27.
